Our prayers were answered in ways that we hadn't even imagined.Simon's school was closed, but the girls' schools were open!
A whole day to ourselves.
Did we have a nice snowy walk ending up at the pub for egg and chips?
Did we browse the antique shops before heading back for coffee and Quincy?
No we didn't.
I stripped wallpaper all day, and Si sat at the computer applying for jobs.
We didn't even manage to have lunch together.
Sad cases.
The kids had a lovely time though - they sledged to school, and made a snowman when they got home.
