Circus

Grandma Judy treated us all to a trip to the circus this week.
We didn't know quite what to expect - the Big Top was set up behind the local garden centre and the advert in the paper promised 'a mule and a donkey.'
(I have seen some tin pot affairs in my time. One that particularly sticks in my mind had some cats balancing on a plank. Not Big Cats; just common or garden moggies.)
This was definitely in a different league - glamorous showgirls, prancing ponies and death defying acrobats.
Some Zebras trotted past - Daphne, the ultimate tv kid, sat there eyes wide open asking 'Are they real?'

And yes - that is Florence riding a camel!
