Just got back from Robbie's 30th do, which was lovely.(I can still remember her 18th like it was yesterday - this has been troubling me all day.)
Undeterred by the showers, we sat outside holding umbrellas, sipping champagne.
The kids played with balloons for what seemed like hours.
At one point Grandma Cynth sat them down and sang 'When smoke gets in your eyes'.
Apparently they responded very well, and Eva actually sang the chorus back to her.
Wish I'd seen it. I was elsewhere, busy drinking.
