Under a garlanded bamboo arch in a beautiful sunny garden Kate and Mit made their wedding vows.Friends and family gave some very different but equally pertinent readings. We cried, laughed and toasted the happy couple with Champagne.
Then the feasting began - succulent roast pig, salads galore, Indian delectables, beer on tap, and as many Ronaldo's ice-creams as we could eat. (It turns out that Flossie can eat quite a few.)
To finish, cups of tea and slices of cake, before showering the married's with rose petals as they went off to catch the train to Wells.
The whole thing was lovely, really lovely.
A very special day for two very special people.
