Work in progress

The cider is clearing nicely - such a joy to behold in the autumn sun.
For my birthday I got a wire brush and a tin of Hammerite, so I have been chipping away at the old pipe, standing on tiptoes on a wobbly chair.
The bin men laughed at me last week - I didn't know why until much later when I caught a glimpse of my grime smeared face in the mirror.
But what a transformation....
Very satisfying.
In a subconscious desire to reward myself, I wandered into the wool shop and bought a bag of scrumptious yarn.
Which is being turned into a revised baby blanket along these lines.
42 squares done - 54 to go.
I'm going to keep the hexagons for wintry dvd night snuggles.
